Research Manager, Relevance & Ranking Responsibilities
  • Manage a medium-sized group of highly impactful researchers, executing and delivering high quality work that has impact for product teams and beyond, reaching across team and org lines.
  • Enjoy complex problem solving with quantitative methods and coaching quant researchers to take their skills, strategic thinking, and impact to the next level.
  • Work closely with cross-functional discipline leads and leadership to drive a human-centered strategy at an organizational level.
  • Act as an advocate for the needs of the people we’re building for, in order to help the org focus on the overall mission and strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of research management experience (e.g. design research, market research and quantitative research).
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research, with an emphasis on quantitative research, and track record of using data to make arguments.
  • Experience attracting and retaining researchers.
  • Track record of translating research into design, product, and algorithms/ML.
